Need something to look forward to this week?
Mondays are hard – but this week you’ll get harder. Vinyl the newest HBO show directed by Martin Scorecese and Mick Jagger premiers Monday night and Comedy Central’s Broad City premiers this Wednesday.
Vinyl details the turbulent world of 1970’s rock and roll. With an incredible soundtrack out now on Spotify, the music alone won’t disappoint besides the incredible cast. If you’re into drugs, sex, rock ‘n’ roll and the darker side of life – you’ll be into this new HBO hit.
Broad City, a personal favorite, features two mid-twenty year old Jewesses living and playing in New York City. While they’re life is comically in shambles, these two female comics always come out on top of whatever ridiculous situation they’re in. Starring and written by Ilana Glazer and Abbi Jacobson, the show features a slew of famous guests including this year former First Lady and current Presidential Canidate, Hilary Clinton.
Vinyl will premiere on HBO at 8pm EST on February 15, 2016.
Broad City will premier on Comedy Central at 10pm EST on February 17, 2016.
